Between1970-1976 he sailed around the world with age of 20. Because he trained many sailing instrutors his nick name is teachers teacher.
He trained 6 women for Atlantic crossing regatta and his team got 2nd place in 2005. He teaches in English, Turkish and German. His wife Mayisa teaches in Russian. 
He has instructor License from Turkey, England and Canada.
